2014 What Is Your Passion?

On  December 12, 2013, my phone rang and it was the call you don't want! My 85 year old mom Nita lives 1800 miles away, Brian my cousin says the paramedics are here and they are taking Nita to the hospital.
He had told me recently that she was in a wheel chair, in my denial" I'm thinking that it is just easier for her  when she goes grocery shopping, knowing the size of Walmart". After speaking with the emergency room, I was not sure my mom would be alive for Christmas.
 Today, I thank God my mom and her passion for her pets and many prayers is Alive. She is amazing in her commitment to walk again and have strength to take care of herself and her dogs.

What a difference 2 weeks make

I want to thank my cousin Debbie for being there for my mom
Brian for his caring for her and her dogs during this crisis. my high school friend  Ronnie and my cousin Jerry.
You and others have loved my mom back to health.
Also and # 1 my God, who heard my prayers and answered them above all my expectations!
I hope this article and photo's touches some of you who have friends or family who are struggling with health
issues. Trust God and be supportive and pray that the passion a person has can be the energy and motivation  for the change in their lives. Happy New Year to all and I hope your Christmas was filled with family and friends and Joy to the Lord for all he has given you in Life.

If my mom can do Physical Therapy at 85, I can climb South Mountain at 70. I am not waiting until 2014 to take action & get healthier and more prosperous in 2014.
